> AAB2011 Spring Event

Date: Saturday May 14th and Sunday May 15th 2011

Time: 10AM to 6PM

Location: The 798 Space. Ceramic 3 St. 798 Road, 798 Art District, 4. Jiuxianqiao Road, Beijing.

The 6th Affordable Art Beijing event will be held this year in Beijing’s 798 Space on May 14th and 15th 2011. Up to 1,000 pieces of contemporary art will be on display, all for under 20,000 RMB. With art work ranging from paintings to prints and photography to sculptures and varying in all sizes, you’re bound to find something to take home.

The AAB team spent the last 6 months scouting for new artists at major art schools like CAFA and Qinghua University, resulting in over 800+ artist applications for this year’s event. That’s twice as many as last year which is guaranteed to make the selection process more competitive.

The recently launched AAB Online Shop allows you to access prints, paintings and other art work right at your fingertips.  Whether you’re in Beijing or elsewhere, you have the flexibility to drop by our office to pick up your order or ship it to your doorstep.

Tom Pattinson, Director and Founder of AAB, has been selected to be the curator at the newly opened Langham Place Art Gallery.  Many artists that he has chosen at this event were top selling artists from past AAB events, including Chen Yu and Hua Jiming, and have now moved on to exhibiting in galleries.
